You can register using the simple registration form which guides you through the information required.  You will need to provide your MOE and Teachers Council registration numbers.

You complete your own profile and select which days you wish to be available or unavailable.   When you are accepted for a Relief Teaching opportunity, Relief Teaching NZ will automatically change your calendar availability with details of the opportunity. 

Your profile can be viewed by Schools or ECE Centres registered with Relief Teaching New Zealand that are in your selected areas or in your favourites.   When you have accepted a Relief Teaching opportunity, your relevant details will be forwarded to the School or ECE Centre’s payroll.

Provide as much information about yourself including references and qualifications.  Upload a current photo and CV.   Keep your profile and calendar up to date. 

You can access your profile 24x7 from your smart phone, tablet or computer.

If you have secured a full time position, make sure you update your availability on your calendar so you do not come up in searches. 

It’s easy; you simply select the Schools or ECE Centres that are your favourites or in your preferred working area. The more Schools or ECE Centres you register with the more notifications of opportunities you will receive.

No you do not have to be available for work every day, but you do need to ensure your calendar indicates the dates when you are not available.   

If you move you can easily change the area and your favourite Schools you wish to work in.

You will be sent an email notification of a Relief Teaching opportunity by a School or ECE Centre which includes details of the job and dates.   In this notification you have the option of accepting or declining the offer. 

The Relief Teaching opportunity notification provides the option of accepting or declining the offer.  Once you have accepted, the School or ECE Centre will notify you either way as to whether you have been successful.

Once you have been accepted by the School or ECE Centre, your calendar availability is updated and the relevant information will be emailed to you.
